President Truman announced that John Foster Dulles, his special representative on negotiation of a Japanese Peace Treaty, will return to Tokyo within a few day "for the dual purpose of consulting with Gen. Ridgway and Japanese leaders." Here Mr. Dulles (right) is shown with Secretary of State Dean Acheson after a meeting.
