“THE GREAT UPSET OF `48" October 26, 1988. WETA, Washington, D.C. Videotape was received from WETA. 3/4-inch videotape (2 copies, we also received one videotape of this from the Office of Presidential libraries). Walter Cronkite reports on the election of 1948.

Interview by Wendell Anschutz with Dr. Benedict Zobrist, Director of the Truman Library, on the 6:00 p.m. news, Channel 5, KCTV, Kansas City. The interview was conducted in the1948 campaign room exhibit at the Truman Library and was broadcast in conjunction with coverage of George Bush's presidential inauguration. This was broadcast on Jan. 19, 1989. This was taped from television. The interview is at the beginning of the news broadcast. VHS videotape.

Ceremony inducting Harry Truman into the National Housing Hall of Fame, May 8, 1988. We received two videotapes, one 3/4-inch and one '/Z-inch VHS from the National Association of Home Builders, Housing Hall of Fame. They are copies of the same ceremony.

SECRET CITY: THE OAK RIDGE STORY Videotape copy of a 12-projector multi-image show from the American Museum of Science and Energy, Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This was sent to us because a tape recording of Truman's Aug. 6, 1945 announcement of the dropping of the Atomic Bomb, as well as a few images, were purchased from us. VHS videotape.

THE VERY HUMAN MR. TRUMAN From Vignettes of St. Joseph History, by the School District of St. Joseph, Missouri, Gene Bradley. This tape focuses on an interview with Harold Slater, a St. Joseph journalist who knew Truman. The film includes footage shot at the Truman Library, including several still photographs.
